Collage offers a freeing way to explore color, shape, and composition—no drawing skills required. In this relaxed, supportive workshop, we’ll begin by looking at a range of inspiring collage styles. You’ll spend time collecting materials that spark your interest, then dive into creating your own piece. Open to total beginners and seasoned artists alike, this class is about curiosity, experimentation, and finding joy in the creative process.
About Sally Grayson!
Sally Grayson is a multidisciplinary artist, professional musician, and seasoned workshop leader whose work bridges visual art, songwriting, and storytelling. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Art from Bethel University and has been working in collage for over 15 years, specializing in bold, layered mixed-media compositions that often accompany her music. Her visual art has been featured alongside her albums, with original collages created for each song on multiple releases—including The Darkness in Me and Desert Rain, produced by Sylvia Massy.
Sally’s work has been spotlighted internationally, with music videos aired on MTV Germany, features on the cover of Berlin-based magazines, and a TED Talk showcasing her unique blend of music and message. She has toured across Europe and the U.S., and appeared on The Voice of Germany twice. Her collage workshops are informed by this deep well of creative experience, inviting participants to explore their own stories through an intuitive and expressive process. With a warm, inclusive facilitation style and a passion for personal transformation through art, Sally creates space for participants of all experience levels to feel empowered and inspired.
