Chapter 43 of the Tao Te Ching is a wonderful riddle. Obviously, comprehending it requires us to interpret it in such a way that preserves the mystery. However, It is also something very simple. A reminder that often, doing nothing is the right course of action. What we perceive as an event’s deterioration is often simply a stage in that event’s progress and meddling with its flow can actually complicate things further…Calm down.
